The release date of ‘Pushpa’ was recently announced. Mythri Movie Makers said that the film, which has Allu Arjun as the lead man, will hit the screens on December 17. Speculations have been rife that the movie has been pushed to Ugadi 2022.
On Saturday, during an interaction with his followers on Instagram, director Sukumar said that the film will hit the screens on the said date and that there won’t be any postponement. “There is no change in release date,” the ‘Rangasthalam’ maker said.
If the film comes out on the aforementioned date, it will have an immense edge over Christmas releases, given that it is going to be the first major release to come out, even before Chiranjeevi’s ‘Acharya’.
Starring Rashmika Mandanna as the heroine, the film has Fahadh Faasil as the villain. The song ‘Srivalli’, which has been sung by Sid Sriram, will be out on October 13. Composed by Devi Sri Prasad, it was shot on the lead woman and Bunny.
