Sujana Chowdary in CBI dock, once again

A CBI team today reached Hyderabad to carry out raids on the properties (both residence and offices) of Sujana Chowdary, the TDP Rajya Sabha MP. A Banking Fraud Cell was involved in the raids. A case was filed earlier by a Bengaluru CBI team. Today's raids are related to that.

The raids come just days after the TDP's drubbing at the hustings. Earlier in the day, the newly-formed Jaganmohan Reddy government removed curbs on the CBI to enter Andhra Pradesh.

Both political analysts and commoners believe that the BJP-led Centre will persist to target TDP politicos in a bid to decimate them further in the next five years.
