A couple of days back, Indiaglitz had reported that Sasikumar will be acting in a film to be directed by Prasath, a former associate of Vasantha Balan.. Now the heroine of the film has been finalized.

Suja Varunee has been roped in to play the lead heroin opposite Sasikumar in this film. She has acted as a heroine in a few films and mostly appeared as second fiddle to heroine or in supporting characters in many films.

Suja made her acting debut playing the lead role in 'Plus Two' that released in 2004. Since then she has been continuously acting in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam film. Playing the lead with Sasikumar can be expected to bring a huge break in her acting career.

The yet to be titled film will be produced by Sasikumar under his Company Productions banner. Darbuka Siva is making his debut as the music composer of the film. S.R.Kadhir has been roped in for cinematography while Praveen Antony will take care of Editing.

After director Bala's 'Tharai Thappattai' which released on Pongal, Sasikumar has completed acting in 'Vetrivel', This film is expected to hit the screens in April. The 'Nadodigal' star will soon start shooting for the new film.
