The former BJP law and parliamentary affairs and Urban Development minister S Suresh Kumar known for his clean image in the party has taken a dig at the suit case culture prevailing in Congress I in state. 

A few months ago JDS Politician HD Revanna son Prajwal also disclosed the suitcase culture of JDS political party that has resulted in huge talk.

S Suresh Kumar former minister referred to Mallika Ghanti statement that suitcase is not given no work take place. This holds a mirror to the corruption in Congress I stated spokesperson of BJP Suresh Kumar. BJP state spokesperson and MLA S Suresh Kumar stated that the BJP had always been saying that the Congress regime in the state was the most corrupt government in post-Independent India.

The case refers to the filling of key posts at Hampi University and chief minister Siddaramaiah given assurance to vice chancellor. After three days of such assurance the suitcase culture has surfaced.

Mallika S Ghanti, vice chancellor reversing her statement said she had not said like that. It is Electronic media that is putting up wrong things.

Mallika Ghanti further stated that she has spoken about the past and present system prevailing. I have never said Suit Case should be taken to Vidhana Soudha. On the prevailing system I have protested in the past and do it in future she pointed.

Meanwhile Higher Education Minister Basavaraja Raya Reddy sought an explanation from Vice Chancellor of Kannada University, Hampi, Prof Mallika S Ghanti for her statement. The question of the vice chancellor bringing money in a suitcase to Vidhana Soudha does not arise he stated.
