Actor Suriya has always been a responsible citizen and a dignified actor. His latest request to his fans on the run up to the release of his upcoming production venture 'Pasanga 2' proves this yet again,

'Pasanga 2' directed by Pandiraj and produced by Suriya under his 2D Entertainments banner will be hitting the screens on December 24, 2015. Suriya has played an extended cameo role in the film.

In his communique to fans, Suriya has requested them to not celebrate the release of his film as they usually do.

"Many of you have been tirelessly participating in rain relief works in Chennai and Cuddalore. You have been celebrating the release of my films with posters and banners as an expression of affection but I have never liked this. I have also told this to you in person. I request you to not indulge in such celebrations during the release of 'Pasanga 2' on December 24 and please do whatever you can do for people affected by floods. Please don't waste your money and energy in pasting posters and fixing banners. "
