Earlier on Monday, a national daily reported that Mani Ratnam has been hospitalized in Chennai due to a heart-related complaint. The report also speculated that the legendary filmmaker may merely be having acidity-related problems.

Suhasini, the yesteryear actress and Mani's wife, has refuted the rumours in her own style. "My husband went to work at 9.30 am this morning...I had a workshop for Naam Charitable Trust women at home...Rupa, a Naam trust coach, brought yummy roti and mango pickle..he loved it and went back to office to add more spice to his script," Suhasini wrote on Twitter.

Mani's fans are greatly relieved that the director is doing fine. May he continue to relish more and more yummy foods and give us outstanding films!
