When Tanikella Bharani said to his nephew Brahmaji 'Aadu Magadraa Bujji' in the film 'Athadu', it became a landmark dialogue in the Telugu cinema history and Mahesh stood out as the benchmark for manly heroes on Telugu screen. Eight years after the movie was released, Mahesh has grown stronger in clout and is declared as the topmost billing hero in Telugu but apart from that, his name has been discussed nationally, even in Bollywood babes' circles.

Mahesh's Brother-in-law Sudheer Babu has made his debut with SMS but grabbed attention with his second film 'Prema Katha Chitram'. In an attempt to grow in stature and move into the next league, he is attempting a mass image with his third film titled 'Aadu Magadraa Bujji', the same dialogue which established Mahesh as the uncrowned prince of TFI.

The audio release of the film was organized in Hyderabad and was attended by several bigwigs from the industry and the original Superstar of Telugu Krishna and Vijaya Nirmala. But the moment Prince Mahesh Babu came in, it turned out to be a one name affair. The fans wanted him to get on the stage, take the mike and speak to them, announce his release. Curiously enough, even the entire crew of the film including Sudheer Babu joined the chorus and was all praise for the reigning superstar of TFI.

The trailer was launched by Krishna, individual sound tracks by groups of industry people and the CD pack by Mahesh Babu in the end.
