Sudheer Babus action entertainer Harom Hara gets OTT streaming date

Nitro Star Sudheer Babu's action-packed "Harom Hara: The Revolt" is set to captivate digital audiences as it premieres on the Aha streaming platform on July 11th. The film, which received a mixed reception upon its theatrical release on June 14th, proved to be a box office success despite mixed reviews from critics and audiences.

Aha announced the premiere date on their official Instagram handle with a captivating caption: "A strong man needs a weapon. But for the childless, the weapon is strength! #HaromHara Premieres July 11th only on aha!"

"Harom Hara," a Telugu-language film, centers on Subramanyam (played by Sudheer Babu), who relocates to Kuppam for a new job opportunity. After resigning, he embarks on a new venture, establishing a gun manufacturing unit, which dramatically changes his life. While the film's action sequences were widely praised, critics found the storyline and writing somewhat predictable.

Directed and written by Gnanasagar Dwaraka, the film features Malvika Sharma opposite Sudheer Babu, with a supporting cast including Sunil, Jayaprakash, and Ravi Kale. "Harom Hara" is produced by Sumanth G Naidu under the banner of Sree Subrahmanyeshwara Cinemas. The film boasts a powerful soundtrack composed by Chaitan Bharadwaj, impressive cinematography by Arvind Viswanathan, and sharp editing by Ravi Teja Girijala.

This marks Sudheer Babu's third release in 2023, following "Maama Mascheendra" (directed by Harsha Vardhan) and "Hunt" (helmed by Mahesh Surapaneni). "Harom Hara: The Revolt" is now poised to reach a wider audience on Aha, providing viewers with an action-packed cinematic experience starting July 11th.

Despite a successful theatrical run, "Harom Hara: The Revolt" faced financial challenges. Made on a budget of Rs 13 crore, the film ultimately incurred a loss of approximately Rs 8 crore. However, the acquisition of digital rights by Aha for a considerable sum has somewhat eased the burden on the producers.
