These days, most of the big-ticket pan-India movies are coming in a period drama backdrop. Actor Sudheer Babu is the latest one to join the bandwagon.

His 18th film is going to be in collaboration with second-time filmmaker Gnanasagar Dwaraka and budding producer Sumanth G Naidu. The makers today announced the film, without revealing the title.

The Nitro Star, as the 'Sammohanam' and 'V' actor is being called these days, will be seen in a physically strong role in this promising project. Sree Subrahmanyeshwara Cinemas is making it as one of the most expensive outings.

Arun Gowli of South Bombay and Subramanyam of Kuppam in the Chittoor district are among two of the important characters in the movie. The hero makes a dashing entry, as per the story, to resolve a pressing situation.

Come October 31, a major update will be dropped. "This periodic action drama with a divine element is set in 1989 in Kuppam. It is high in Telugu nativity," the makers said.

The 'Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali' actor is gung-ho about the project. His next films are 'HUNT' and 'Mama Mascheendra'.
