Sivakarthikeyan and Sudha Kongara's New Film to Begin Shooting Soon!

Though it was released via OTT platforms, the much praised film âSoorarai Pottruâ, directed by Sudha Kongara and starring Suriya, was a big hit. The film attracted a big audience and took home several national honors. Suriya personally is producing the Bollywood remake of the successful movie.
The upcoming cooperation between Suriya and Sudha Kongara was high. The pair revealed a new project called âPurananooruâ, a period drama grounded on actual occurrences. Dulquer Salmaan and Nazriya were first said to be joining Suriya in this movie. The project was shelved before filming started, though, which sparked a lot of conjecture about the causes behind this choice.
Suriya is working on âSuriya 44â under director Karthik Subbaraj right now. Amidst this, there have been speculations regarding the upcoming movie of Sudha Kongara. It is currently under conjecture that Sudha will lead a fresh project alongside Sivakarthikeyan. With shooting anticipated to begin later this year, reports indicate that the plot meant for *Purananuru* might be changed for this new movie.
