Director clarifies about 'Thalapathy 65' announcement

Thalapathy Vijay's 'Master' is in postproduction which has got delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic. The film directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj has Vijay Sethupathi, Andrea, and Malavika Mohanan in principle characters and is one of the most anticipated. Meanwhile, the groundwork has started for Vijay's next 'Thalapathy 65' reportedly directed by A.R. Murugadoss and produced by Sun Pictures.
A Twitter account supposedly by director Sudha Kongara had posted that she is going to direct 'Thalapathy 65' and the announcement will be made on June 22nd the birthday of Vijay. It is worth mentioning that Sudha was in talks to helm the project but due to various reasons pushed it into the future.
Sudha Kongara has officially clarified "Hi, I am not on twitter or any social media. When I do get on it I will officially announce it and do so. So kindly ignore the fake ID and don’t waste your time following it. Stay safe, stay home, and stay busy doing what you love and what you can do from home. Looking forward to life the other side of this devastating virus."
