ÂChennai has changed a lot. I knew Adyar as a village which has now become the heart of the metropolis. But my heart still beats for the old MadrasÂ, says filmmaker Sudha K Prasad.
The former associate of Mani Ratnam, who made her presence felt with ÂDrohiÂ, the Srikanth-Vishnu starrer, says, ÂThough my debut movie is based in north Chennai (the birthplace of the city), I donÂt want to be part of the rapid urbanizationÂ.
ÂEven now I stay in a small village called Nanmangalam near Pallavaram. The place is so calm and beautiful and it is close to the city too. So I have no problems in living thereÂ, Sudha adds.
Meanwhile, sources have it that the director is getting ready for her second venture. ÂA student of Mani Ratnam she is, Sudha is trying to explore something different in her next filmÂ, sources say.
