The super star of Kannada cinema Kichcha Sudeep reaching out in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Hollywood films in a career of 22 years was in a mood to write on his journey – the day happened to be January 31 – the day he first applied make up for Kannada film ‘Brahma’ that starred Dr Ambarish in the lead role in 1996.
It is such a coincidence that Kichcha Sudeep is producer of Dr Ambarish film ‘Ambi Ning Vayassaithu’ a remake of ‘Power Pandi’ Tamil film. He is co star also in the film.
Kichcha Sudeep in his letter recalled the day January 31, 1996. Prior to that he was going to the sets with his father Sarovar Sanjeev hearing action cut sound. In ‘Brahma’ Ambarish Mama played the brother role and it was a small portion I appeared. I took lot of takes for the first shot. Today I don’t know how to thank my cinema industry. Producers, directors, technicians, co artists, exhibitors, distributors, media persons, my friends, family members are part of my journey. What I am today is the contribution of all such people.
I am indebted to my family that has sacrificed in my long journey. The cinema industry that supported me in my ups and down, I will strive hard for development of it concludes Kichcha Sudeep.
