For the first time in the career of super star Kichcha Sudeep his voice is used for a short film a brainchild of humble journalist of prestigious Udayavani group Vijay Bharamasagara ‘Bharathipura Cross’.
That is the affection shown by Kichcha Sudeep for a prominent journalist. It is really admirable. Vijay Bharamasagara is also lyricist in Kannada filmdom. He has 23 songs to his credit and written dialogues for three films. He is in the film journalism for last 18 years.
The happy news and new development is that Vijay Bharamasagara turns director for his script, screenplay and dialogue. Siblings DC Ashok and DC Kotresh have invested on this short film ‘Bharatipura Cross’ in DCA Brothers banner.
Looking at the talent and humble request made by Vijaya Bharamasagara, Kichcha Sudeep consented dub his voice and that has in fact taken this short film to higher levels. The voice of Kichcha Sudeep comes for one and half minutes.
Meanwhile ‘Bharatipura Cross’ has nothing to do with ‘Bharathipura’ novel of Gnanapith award winner Dr UR Ananthamurthy. This has a universal concept in the narration of 23 minutes. What would be the circumstances when anger, ego, head weight enters a human being is dealt in this subject by VB.
‘Life Super’ Kannada film hero Likith Soorya is in the lead role. Pooja Hunasur who acted as heroine in Kannada film ‘Janakirama’ and sister to Rachita Ram in ‘Ranna’ is female lead. Niranjan Davanegere, Prasad, Akshar, Ganesh, Harish, Thippeswamy (Shanthala) are also in the cast.
Statea award music director Anoop Seelin scores music and Sujay Kumar handled cinematography. KM Prakash is editor.
In just four days at his home town Bharamasagara, Chitradurga the shooting was held says VB. The poster of this short film was released recently. After screening for media and guests, this will be available in You Tube adds VB as his forthcoming plans.
