As a part of the publicity the ‘Kempegowda’ Kannada film team headed by Sudeep actor cum director of the film played 20 over cricket match on Sunday morning till afternoon with Press Club of Bangalore and won the trophy.

From the Press Club of Bangalore Captain Mahadev and team scored 126 runs in the turf ground at Central College but that was easily scored by ‘Kempegowda’ team. In just two wickets it scored 127 runs and clinched the trophy.

Actor Tarun Chandra and Rahul got out while Pradeep and Sudeep carried forward the innings to victory. The Kempe Gowda cup was presented to Sudeep and team by Cotton Pete cop Lokeshwhar in the presence of producer of the film Shankare Gowda and N Kumar.

The team of ‘Kempegowda’ is leaving to other districts of Karnataka as publicity campaign.
