For the investment of Sudeep the popular star, Suresh Raj has directed 'Sthree Shakthi' (woman power) that focuses on the sickening social issue.

It is because of Sudeep I am here today and I would not forget him till my last breath. In the last ten years I have not directed after 'Prema' in 2002. When producer Raju Gowda backed out for a valid reason Sudeep knowing my situation came forward to invest in this film. Sudeep showed the magnanimity by not putting his banner and further told me to be the producer of the film. Sudeep as producer has like the subject and patted that I would do a good job. Today out of 30 nearly 24 female kid is killed in the womb. This is a dangerous development in the society says Suresh Raj.

'Sthree Shakthi' with a caption 'Hennina Pranakkagi' has obtained U/A certificate. Sharat Lohitashava plays anti woman in the film as coffee planter in a hilly region. His son Rajiv is reverse to his opinion. This is the first independent film as hero for Rajiv. He has acted in a small role in 'Kempe Gowda'.

V Manohar knows Suresh Raj from 'Tharle Nan Maga' time says he was permitted to add two extra songs to support the situation. Shashi is the cameraman. Dr Sunder Raj who did the anchoring for the media briefing is also in an important role.

For the 'Sthree Shakthi' media meet none of the 'Stree' who worked for the film turned up. Directors MS Ramesh and Yogish Hunsur were present to bless the 'Sthree Shakthi' team.
