The stylish actor, director and producer of Kannada cinema Sudeep is playing the lead in 'Theertha'. Sriram, Kumar and Gopi who made films like Nandhi, News, Ekadantha' in the past are producing this film. Sudeep has completed 'Ghooli' for Ramu Enterprises that is all set for release.

Sadhu Kokila who directed stars like Shivarajkumar, Upendra, Darshan, Prajwal is taking up his first film for popular actor Sudeep. Sadhu Kokila who is a well known music director too is not scoring the music for his film. Gurukiran is doing the scorings for this film.

Sadhu Kokila has written the story, screenplay and doing the direction for Pawan Arts. This is the fourth direction of Sadhu Kokila who is a popular comedian too on Kannada screen. Saloni, Ananthnag, Rangayana Raghu are in the lead supporting roles. Chandru is the cameraman.

The film is all set to go on the floors on 11th of February at Kanteerava studios.
