Singer Suchithra has a strong fan base for her unique voice that enhanced many a song namely "May maasam thonootethil major" and "Vaada bin laadaa" in 'Jay Jay' and 'Mankaatha' respectively.  Unfortunately in recent years she is in the news for the wrong reasons due to a hashtag Suchileaks on Twitter that posted intimate photos of top celebrities Dhanush, Anirudh, Trisha, Andrea and others.  For the past several months she has been out of the limelight and last week again surfaced due to a missing police complaint by her sister.

The police located Suchi in a star hotel in Chennai and the singer had clarified that her own family members are branding her mentally unstable while she is steady and is moving around on her own free will.

Suchitra in her latest interview has reasserted that someone hacked her Twitter account during Suchileaks and that she regrets that Dhanush and Anirudh have been pulled into the controversy.  She said that the incident and her divorce with actor Karthik Kumar which went on simultaneously took a toll on her but after a year she has recovered.

Suchitra has shared that she has composed a single and sung along with Ranjith that will release soon.  Suchi also humorously added that she has started a new YouTube channel SuchiCooks where she will be teaching in Tamil French cuisine which she learnt in London formally.  Well it's heartening to hear that the multi talented personality is back with a bang after overcoming her personal setbacks.
