Director Thirumurugan is one of the successful director emerge from small screen.

After a stupendous hit in tele serial Metti Oli the director made his foray to big screen with Em Mahan.

Then movie starred Bharath and Gopika in lead roles. Produced by Sathyajothy Films, the movie went on to become a big hit at the box office. Thirumurugan won the State award for the best director for his maiden venture.

However after the success, Thirumurugan has been maintaining a stoic silence about his next directorial venture.

The latest buzz is that Thirumurugan has decided to commence his next with his favorite hero Bharath. Sources say it would again be a melo-drama.

Bhaskar Sakthi, who penned the dialogues for Em Mahan has been roped for the same job for Thirumurugan's next venture too.
