The powerful trailer of showman Subhash Ghai's next, ‘Kaanchi’, crossed a mammoth 1 million views within just a week of its release and, recently, the 1.5 million mark. The grand milestone achieved by the earthy, yet power packed, trailer goes on to show the love being showered on the stellar director's latest venture.

Director Subhash Ghai, who feels strongly about the story of ‘Kaanchi’, was ecstatic about the trailer's online views crossing the grand number. He said, "I chose to make Kaanchi because I was sure the audience will love it. The number of views on the trailer has proved that they have. I want to thank them with all my heart, for their response."

The trailer, which conveys how the "Ideals of a young woman will bring in a new revolution", has definitely made an impression.

Directed by Subhash Ghai, Kaanchi is the story of an innocent rural beauty and her fight against power. Starring Rishi Kapoor, Mithun Chakraborty, Kartik Aaryan, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Rishabh Sinha and introducing Mishti, the musical drama is produced by Mukta Arts and is slated to release on 25th April, 2014.
