Of late grapevines had it that Subhash Ghai is going to come up with a project, having Sushant Singh Rajput and Sonakshi Sinha in lead.

However, the filmmaker being annoyed over such stories rubbished off the news as mere rumours through an official statement.

Ghai, who is currently busy with ‘Kaanchi’, also stated that he will officially announce any such project after it has been finalised by everyone associated with it.

Ghai’s statement read thus, "It is not true that we have signed Sushant Singh Rajput with Sonakshi Sinha as today's reports in the papers.

We wonder who spreads these rumours! We always announce a project when it is completely sealed and signed by all parties concerned."

Meanwhile Sushant is having two major projects namely ‘Fitoor’ by Abhishek Kapoor and ‘Pani’ by Shekar Kapur.

On the other hand, Sonakshi has Tigmanshu Dhulia's ‘Bullett Raja’ and Prabhu Dheva's ‘Rambo Rajkumar’
