Students union's 'Challenge': Only punches, no hugs for Modi
Send us your feedback to audioarticles@vaarta.com
Recently, the Left-leaning All India Students Federation (AISF) launched a campaign named 'Punch Modi Challenge' in Kerala. The avowed aim of the same is to take out their anger against the Modi government's failure to curb the rising fuel prices, among others.
A punching bag with the face of Modi is hit by the passers-by to express their anger. As per some reports, hundreds hit the punching bag but not many wanted to hug it to show their love for the Modi government. This is being projected as clear proof of people's disapproval of the Centre's policies.
This form of protest has not gone down well with many sections of people, especially the PM's fans. They feel that it's an improper form of expressing protest.
