Student release 'Student' album

In a fitting style, splendor and grandeur the audio album of Kannada film 'Student' was released by 12 students picked from various parts of Karnataka in a dance competition on Thursday evening at Dr.Ambedkar Bhavan.

Out of 14863 applications received for the dance competition the 'Student' team short listed 12 students and invited them for the audio album release. The first, second and third winners from male and female students released a song each of the album. Among the 12 winners the lucky winner was Manish of Seshadripuram College Bangalore who walked with Hero Honda motorbike. Rebel star Ambarish handed over the key of the motorbike to the student. Among the girl students Hemavathy from Kongadiappa College in Doddaballapur received the Hero Pleasure vehicle from famous south Indian actor Sharat Babu.

The second prize went to student Hanumanth from Belgaum and Bhavya of Bangalore. The third prize went to Reshma of Hubli, Thipperudra of Bellary.

All the 12 students jointly released the CD and cassette and handed it over to Member of Parliament and actor Ambarish. I remember my college days today and I wish all the best for 'Student' team informed Ambarish in his address.

Actress Thara, R.P.Patnayak, Aravind Limbavali, Thriller Manju, Abijit were also present on this occasion.

The hero and heroine of 'Student' Kannada film Mayoor Patel and Pooja Kanwal danced to three song numbers of the film. Shadows and Extremer troupe assisted in the dance.

Producers Lallesh and Goverdhan Reddy are extremely happy with their first venture 'Student'. They are looking for good returns from the film to produce more Kannada films. Director of Student M.D.Sridhar is optimistic about the success of the film. He thanked the first time producers for maintaining the same zeal of the first day of shooting till today.

Madan Patel father of hero Mayoor Patel and Divya Raghavan conducted the three hours function.
