Strong female characters may be said to be the flavour of the season. After 'Baahubali' films, 'Rangasthalam' and the recent 'Mahanati', large sections of audiences are expecting a special place for female characters in big-ticket movies.

Prabhas is one hero who is leading the pack when it comes to doing films with substantial female characters. As was reported recently, the entire story of 'Saaho' is narrated through Shraddha Kapoor's character. She is playing a meaty role in the multi-lingual action film.

This is not all. Prabhas' film with Radhakrishna, too, has a respectable place for the heroine. "An interesting love story, both Prabhas and me are playing really strong roles in the movie," says Pooja Hegde, the actor's romantic pair in the yet-to-be-shot movie.

'Baahubali-The Beginning' and 'Baahubali-The Conclusion' too had strongly-etched characters in Sivagami, Deva Sena and Avantika. Prabhas may soon to called someone who allows his heroines/female characters the space they deserve.
