Cinematographer Venkatesh and director Saran share an excellent rapport.

The former had been part of all Saran's films. Their bonding is so strong that when Saran ventured to produce Aaru, he cast Venkatesh as executive producer of the movie.

Thanking Saran for his gesture, Venkatesh says, 'It is because of the great relationship that we share. We have a common wave length that keeps us going. He gives a patient hearing to suggestions and encourages'.

Venkatesh, who had worked in all movies of Saran so far, says, 'Saran deserves all credit for getting the best from his crew. He keeps the entire crew in good spirits all through the shooting'.

Venkatesh who is cranking the camera for Idhaya Thirudan, however says, 'I have no plans to become a director in the coming days. I know it is a difficult task and needs more determination and commitment'.
