Meera Jasmine is one actress who is comfortable doing both serious and masala films. It is a trick that does not come easily to every actress.
Amidst her run of the mill films she has done sensitive films Padom Onnu Oru Vilaapam, Perumazhakaalam and the recent Achuvinde Amma. The last named in fact has just completed 200 days.
Elsewhere in Tamil and Telugu she has been keeping herself busy with gritty entertainers.
In Tamil, Meera is currently acting in the remake of 'Kasthoorimaan' and a film with the director Linguswamy titled Sandaikozhi.
In Malayalam, she is committed to do a film with Lenin Rajendran. 'I am thrilled to work with Lenin Rajendran. It is going to be a very impressive role. This is another chance for me to prove my acting talent'.
