Maheshinte Prathikaaram fame Lijo Mol, who is currently preparing for NET exam after completing post graduation in Library Science, will be playing a meaty role in Mammootty's upcoming film 'Streetlights' directed by Shamdat. In a recent interview, the actress revealed that she is paired with Soubin Shahir in the movie.

Helmed by Shamdat, the upcoming movie 'Streetlights' is a crime thriller which revolves around a murder mystery featuring Mammootty in the role of an investigative police officer. The movie is a tale of many characters and has Joy Mathew, Dharmajan Bolgatty, Indrans and Harish Kanaran in supporting roles. Produced by Mammootty himself, the movie is primarily shot in various locations of Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
