Ever since Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao left viewers wondering at the end of their 2018 film, fans have yearned for Stree to return. Under the direction of Amar Kaushik, the first picture evolved into a popular and profitable horror-comedy that raised hopes for a follow-up. The teaser for Stree 2 has at last been unveiled after clues at the end of Bhediya (2022) and Munjya, also part of the Maddock Supernatural Universe.

Joined by Aparshakti Khurana, Pankaj Tripathi, and Abhishek Banerjee, Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor will return in their roles. To add to the buzz, the teaser shows Tamannaah Bhatia unexpectedly. She is seen dancing momentarily then exhibits a startled look in a blink-and-miss instant.

In the teaser, Shraddha's persona radiates a cold demeanor while Rajkummar returns as the endearing Vicky. Her lengthy plait, which was shorn off in the first movie, makes a comeback especially. Seeing their beloved characters back in action excites fans and they are looking forward to the sequel.
