'Stree 2' Takes Bollywood by Storm-Karan Johar Calls it a Juggernaut!

Filmmaker Karan Johar started his Tuesday morning with a moving post honoring the success of Stree 2. Karan honored the cast and crew of the movie featuring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao alongside Aparshakti Khurana, Abhishek Banergee, and Pankaj Tripathi. He said that the success of Stree 2 was a celebration of Hindi cinema, highlighting among the most important success stories the directors' dedication and approach.
The juggernaut mega blockbuster success of Stree 2 is not just a win for Maddock Films but also a celebration of Hindi and Indian mainstream cinema, Karan said in his statement. Though recent years have been difficult for Hindi films at the box office, especially in a post-pandemic environment, he said that Stree 2 has shown that excellent narrative and deep audience ties still have resonance.
Karan said, this success validates the power of rooted content and shows that conviction and focus on a great concept can deliver big results. For their vision and skill, he praised the crew behind the movieâincluding Maddock Films, director Amar Kaushik, and the writing staff.
