Stray dogs have become a menace across the country. The cries of citizens to keep them in check have gone unnoticed mainly due to local administrations not giving the pleas an ear.
In the latest instance, a five-year-old boy from Hyderabad succumbed to injuries from a dog attack in Amberpet. On Sunday, the boy was reportedly on his way back home after seeing off his father, who works as a security guard. While returning, three dogs attacked them. They were physically strong, while the smaller ones were also spotted in the vicinity.
As per some reports, the victim died on the spot.
Telangana Minister and TRS leader KT Rama Rao has described the incident as painful. He is perhaps the only Minister in the country to take the issue seriously although many individuals, especially children, have been dangerously attacked by stray dogs in several States.
