STR to attend workshop by Vetrimaran

Vetrimaran, along with his team members, stayed in Madurai for sometime before starting 'Aadukalam', to get the feel of the temple town. Apparently, it was this dedication that made the film to make a strong presence at the National Awards.

Now that the director is gearing up to start his next, titled 'Vada Chennai', he is planning to hold a workshop for the actors he has roped in. We learn, lead players STR and Rana Daggubati, besides other members of the cast, will attend it.

Vetrimaran believes that the workshop would help him shoot the film in a short span, as the actors would be given hands on training on the film, their characters and the kind of performance the director expects from them, sources say.

Set in the backdrop of North Chennai, the film was once claimed by Vetrimaran as his dream venture. To be produced by Dhayanidhi Alagiri's Cloud Nine movies, 'Vada Chennai' has Kishore in a crucial role. Music is by G V Prakash Kumar, while cinematography is by Velraj.
