After staying in the United States for more than a month, meeting musicians and technicians for his music album 'Love Anthem', STR aka Simbu is back in Chennai. He is set to resume shooting for three of his forthcoming films on a full swing.

"The entire talkie portion of Podaa Podi is over. We have to shoot four songs which we will be doing soon. As far as Vettai Mannan is concerned, the first half is over and the second half will be shot in Brazil," he says.

On 'Vada Chennai' with the National Award winning Vetrimaaran, Simbu says, "After completing Podaa Podi and Vettai Mannan, I will start working for Vada Chennai. I am happy to join hands with a filmmaker like Vetrimaaran."

On allegations that the shooting schedules of his films were affected due to his trip to the US, STR says, "No way. Because the whole industry came to a sudden halt due to the strike. Moreover, I was regularly in touch with my producers."
