Brilliant actress Taapsee Pannu has an exciting line up of upcoming films and one of them is Shahrukh Khan starrer 'Dunki'. 'Dunki' is the first collaboration between SRK and celebrated filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani and ever since the announcement, it has created considerable hype around itself. In a recent media interaction, Taapsee shared how happy she is to bag this project solely on the basis of her skills and previous performances.
She told The Indian Express, "I feel so happy that this has happened purely on the basis of credentials and talent. Nobody picked up the phone for a recommendation. I got the film only because someone liked I what did.”
The actress also commented on how dreamlike it is for her to finally share screen with Shahrukh Khan himself. Taapsee said, "I have to pinch myself every day to believe that this is happening. I have grown up watching his (Shah Rukh’s) films. For me, Shah Rukh Khan is the introduction to Hindi films. So just standing next to him in a frame is surreal. I just hope I don’t mess it up."
However, as of now Taapsee is gearing up for the release of her biographical sports drama 'Shabaash Mithu' where she'll be seen playing cricketer Mithali Raj.
