Stepping into the breach

Mamta Mohandas is a well-trained singer.
The young girl, whom we all saw in both Mayookham and Bus Conductor, is perhaps by now singing a few melody numbers for herself.
The young actress has come into the scheme of things just at the right time when existing starlets have taken off to Tamil and Telugu.
The beautiful Mallu girl (who had been in places like Bangalore and Bahrain), is said to be hugely sought after in the industry.
Mohanlal is doing a film with her. Ditto with Jayaram and Suresh Gopi. A couple of other young stars are also in the process of signing films with her.
In short, Mamta Mohandas seems to have arrived.
But the real worry is that she would not take off to Tamil and Telugu.
