One of the highly acclaimed musicians in Karnataka film music with great work experience in leading music directors Stephen Prayog has come up with a music College to teach the music academically. There are several institutions teaching music but this one is quite different he says.

Stephen has set up music institute in Basaveshwaranagara busy locality. It is called as Stephen College of Music. This is somewhat close to Hamsalekha Desi music school and college that is situated near Shankar Math. In Chennai world famous music director AR Rehman has similar College for music.

The theory and practical will be such that it gives a near perfect knowledge to become a music director. An examination is also conducted later. It is six months course. Arrangement of music is another area. Of course there will be campus selection for the interested ones to get in to film, TV and other basic programs.

The students will be taught in a complete home studio. Eighty students are enrolled in this Stephen College of Music.
