Steal ideas from us, Rahul Gandhi tells Modi

With economic data saying that rural consumption was at its lowest in seven years for the quarter ending September, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has hit out at the NDA government. He said that his party's manifesto has ideas that the PM-FM duo can use.
"Rural India is in severe distress. The economy has sunk and the #GovtIsClueless about what to do. The PM and the FM should steal ideas from our manifesto where we had anticipated and set down detailed plans to tackle the mess," the Wayanad MP says.
The country is unmistakably faced with a slowdown. However, ideas like NYAY, which are extremely inflationary and highly expensive, are not the solution.
