Walt Disney Pictures has made arrangement to screen its upcoming 'Star Wars' movie 'The Rise of Skywalker' ahead of its release date to oblige a dying fan who has no time to wait. Bob Iger the chief of Disney has pulled string for the English man who is being treated at the Rowans Hospice in Waterloo, Hampshire in England.
Bob Iger has shared on Twitter "On this Thanksgiving, we at @Disney are grateful to be able to share #TheRiseOfSkywalker with a patient and his family @RowansHospice. May the force be with you and with us all!"
The decision to make the patient and his family happier by granting his wish Disney has been on the receiving end of appreciation from Star Wars fans and the internet users alike.
'Star Wars : The Rise of Skywalker' directed by J.J. Abrams stars Carrie Fisher in her last role, Mark Hamill, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega and Keri Russel among others. The film hits the screens worldwide on December 20th 2019.
