As the world has come to a standstill with people getting confined to homes and our entertainers connecting with fans via social media due to the lockdown, Hollywood actor Johnny Depp has finally joined Instagram.

The Pirates of the Caribbean star debuted on Instagram on Thursday, and the 56-year-old actor's first Instagram was a photo of him sitting on a bench surrounded by candles, captioned "Hello everyone... filming something for you now... gimme a minute".

Johnny Depp then posted an IGTV video announcing that he'll release a cover of the 1970 song 'Isolation' by John Lennon and also gave a message about coronavirus pandemic requesting followers to care for one another, adding that we must not succumb to shutting down and giving in to quarantine monotony.
