Scenarist - Actor Sreenivasan is known for his straightforward talk. In a recent interview, Sreenivasan said that Mohanlal is reluctant to do antagonist roles. He recalled how movies like 'Mukundetta Sumirta Vilikunnu' and 'Udayananu Tharam' was offered to Mohanlal in different roles.

Sreenivasan said that the star image of an actor badly affects the kind of choices he makes. Many talented actors have had the same problem opines Sreenivasan. He noted that this attitude actually affects good cinema. Sreenivasan also clarified that he has no personal grudge against Mohanlal.
