Rajamouli lauded the film's cast, particularly praising the depth and intrigue surrounding Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas (referred to as "Darling"), and Deepika Padukone's characters. However, it was Kamal Haasan's appearance that truly captivated Rajamouli, who expressed his amazement at the veteran actor's transformative look. Rajamouli concluded his message by expressing his eager anticipation for the film's release, stating, "Nagi (Nag Ashwin) can’t wait to immerse into your world on the 27th!"

The two-minute and twenty-two-second clip confirms Deepika Padukone's character as the bearer of Kalki, the avatar of Kali Yuga, while Ashwatthama declares, "God resides in your womb." This sets the stage for an intense battle between Ashwatthama and Bhairava (Prabhas' character).

The trailer also unveils Kamal Haasan's role as a wise sage in the sci-fi epic.

With a massive budget of Rs 600 crore, making it India's most expensive film, "Kalki 2898 AD" is set to be a visual spectacle.
