The thing with the Tollywood media is that it continues to speculate about projects for years together. If a director met an actor in 2016 and narrated a story, be assured that speculative reports based on this meeting will be kept alive for years. Every quarter or so, this project will be revived in baseless news reports. The NTR-AR Murugadoss project is one such.

Thankfully, the 'Sarkar' director has killed the rumour that the Nandamuri actor will be teaming up with him. In an interview, the 'Spyder' director has said that a story was narrated to NTR but it couldn't be agreed upon. Last year, he had to scorch rumours about a project with Prabhas in a similar way.

ARM awaits the release of 'Darbar' on January 9. Starring Superstar Rajinikanth, Nayanthara and Suneil Shetty, this one has the '2.0' actor as a rowdy cop.

As for NTR, his 'RRR' was recently shot in Araku.
