Director S S Stanley is an excited man for his Mercury Pookal starring Srikanth and Meera Jasmine has released this weekend.

A confident Stanley says the movie has come out well and the audience would like the film.

Stanley is geared up to begin his next venture that would again feature Srikanth in the lead role.

He says, 'I will begin work for Srikanth's home production. We are sure to strike a hat trick. The movie would be quite different from my earlier ventures. Bhavana would play the heroine.'

Stanley and Srikanth have done April Madhathil and the just-released Mercury Pookal.

On a big gap after his Pudukotailirundhu Saravanan, Stanley says, 'after the movie, I was slated to direct Ravikrishna for producer Krishnakanth's Indian Theatres. I completed the script and storyline. When everything was ready, the producer suffered a setback after the release of his home production Manmadhan. It halted all my preparations'.

Then happened Mercury Pookal.
