DMK Working President M.K.Stalin has expressed his candid opinion about Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Aanmeega Arasiyal' (Spiritual politics).

In his interview to a Tamil daily Stalin has said "Religion was born out of attempts to institutionalize spirituality. When the institutionalized religion takes the power to rule and makes people suffer, the concept of secularism arises. This teaches us to keep spirituality and politics separately. Rajini is trying to reverse this again and this is not good for the nation."

In the same interview Stalin has said that both Rajini and Kamal are his friends but hinted that politics will not be a cake walk for the long standing legends of Tamil cinema.
