Stalin and other DMK MLAs stage a sit in protest in Assembly complex

The Assembly will resume in a few minutes from now. The DMK members expelled by the Speaker Dhanapal for allegedly creating ruckus were refusing to move out.
The latest development is that some DMK members, including Saidapet MLA Ma.Subramaniam, who went out for lunch are not let inside when they returned. Around 20 DMK MLAs Stalin were allegedly forcibly evicted from the floor by the Assembly Marshals. Stalin's shirt was allegedly torn during the melee.
Protesting this move, the DMK MLAs headed by their leader MK Stalin and Duraimurugan have started a sit in protest by sitting on the floor.
The vote of confidence is expected to begin only after 3 pm. Conducting the Trust vote without the opposition party members is against the Constitutional rules and mighty invite Governor's action according to political observers.
