Mahesh Babu and Trivikram Srinivas are all set to resume the shoot of SSMB28 this week. As was recently announced by producer S Naga Vamsi himself, January 18 (Wednesday) is when the shoot is going to begin.

An action sequence will be shot on the 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' actor and others under the aegis of the Ram-Laxman duo. A set has been put up at Saradhi Studio, Hyderabad, for the purpose. The two-week schedule will be a crucial one.

The fight masters, Ram and Laxman, have been in the news over the action choreography for the recent Sankranthi releases: 'Waltair Veerayya' and 'Veera Simha Reddy'.

Last year, around September, a fight sequence was shot under the aegis of the AnbAriv duo of 'KGF' fame. For some reason, the 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' director decided to junk the footage and make a fresh start. It's not known if there were any creative issues concerning the action sequence.

The film, starring Pooja Hegde and Sree Leela as heroines, will hit the screens on August 11. Thaman is its music director.
