From the beginning of the promotion of HAT TRICK till very recently, director Milan Luthria had emphasized on the fact that the film was not 'about' cricket but had the sport as just a metaphor. Still many missed the point and the result was that there were many who were left disappointed as they missed the actual action on screen.

Well, the complain may go off soon as they get to see some real action happening on ground a la LAGAAN as Sanjay Suri's SAY SALAAM INDIA releases all over on March 30. And that's because here cricket is not just a metaphor but heart, body and soul of the film. The film completely revolves around the game of cricket as Suri plays a Under-19 cricket coach.

The film begins and ends with cricket as a thrilling game of cricket between two rival teams forms an exciting climax of the film. There are fights, tussles, arguments, mocking, euphoria - all emotions at their peak one after another with just winner in the end - cricket!
