SS Rajamouli's son SS Karthikeya is no longer the producer of 'Aakashavani'. The project, directed by Ashwin Gangaraju, was to be his first production. Due to creative differences with the director, Karthikeya has called it quits.

"It has been quite an interesting journey so far as a producer. It has been a learning experience. As much as I was excited about the project and decided to give it my all, I am also equally dedicated to the other project (referring to 'RRR') as a Line Producer, and this is sometimes preventing me from giving my all to 'Aakashavani'. With an amazing crew in place, progress has been great on the film. However, over time, I have realized that the creative vision of the director and I is different. I feel it is appropriate to make it easy by handing over the project to someone whose ideas are in sync with the vision of the film," Karthikeya said in a statement.

A Padmanabha Reddy of AU&I Studios Pvt. Ltd. will produce the movie now.

When the project was announced last year, Rajamouli was proud of his son becoming a producer. He will now have to wait for his actual big moment.

The film has dialogues by Sai Madhav Burra. Suresh Ragutu is the cinematographer. Editing is by Sreekar Prasad.
