In this situation, the master SS Rajamouli, who brought two leading stars from the Telugu industry, has expressed his wish that he is eager to team up with Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan, the legendary actors of the Tamil film industry. This statement by him had surprised the Indian cinema fans.

Rajini and Kamal have acted together in many films in the 70s and the 80s back when Superstar Rajinikanth was just a supporting actor. They hadn't shared screen space again after the 1979 film 'Ninaithale Inikkum'. Although a few directors tried to reunite Rajini and Kamal, it did not happen.
