Looks like SS Rajamouli, who is currently basking in the success of his film RRR, will soon enter Hollywood. yes, you heard it right, The Bahubali directed has been signed by American talent agency Creative Artists Agency (CAA) which is being touted as a major coup for the agency considering the high demand for the filmmaker in the west.

The news of Rajamouli signing up with CAA comes just days after his magnum opus RRR was snubbed as India’s Oscar entry. It is the home of the Hollywood biggies like Tom Hanks, Steven Spielberg, Zendaya, and Reese Witherspoon, among several others.

The Film Federation of India announced Chhello Show as India's entry for Oscars 2023, despite many thinking that RRR, which earned more than Rs 1000 crore worldwide at the box office, was the frontrunner in the race.

RRR was released on March 24 and reportedly earned over ₹ 1000 crore worldwide. The film has generated over $132 million at the global box office, becoming India's third highest-grossing film of all time. RRR stars Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles. The film is reportedly the only non-English-language film to trend globally for ten consecutive weeks on Netflix. On the work front, Rajamouli next will direct an untitled feature starring Mahesh Babu, with production set to start in the spring.
