SS Rajamouli sends a LONG TEXT to Drishyam director Jeethu Joseph

Drishyam 2 movie director Jeethu Joseph received a pleasant surprise from Baahubali director SS Rajamouli. The Baahubali director who recently watched the Mollywood blockbuster sent a long personal text to Jeethu Joseph and was all praises for the film. Calling it a masterpiece, SS Rajamouli wrote about he was bowled over by the writing, screenplay, acting, editing, and all other crafts of Drishyam 2.

The message read, "Hi Jeethu, This is Rajamouli. Film Director… watched drishyam 2, few days back…It lingered so much in my thoughts that I watched went back to watch drishyam first part…(I only watched drishyam in Telugu when it released) I must say the direction screenplay editing acting..every craft is truly amazing..but the writing is really something else…it is world standard…the first part itself is a masterpiece..for the second one…to come up with a storyline that seamlessly merges with the first, with the same gripping narration is nothing short of brilliance..hoping to see many more masterpieces from you."Taking to his Instagram handle, Jeethu shared the screenshot of Rajamouli's message and wrote, "Thank you Rajamouli sir... I am honored...you made my day (sic)."

Skipping its theatrical release, Drishyam 2 was released directly on OTT platform - Amazon Prime Video on February 19. The film opened to a unanimous positive response from all corners and its Telugu and Hindi remakes have already been announced. While Telugu will star Venkatesh in the lead role, Hindi film will see Ajay Devgn reprising the role. The shoot of the Telugu version which is also helmed by Jeethu Joseph has already begun in Hyderabad. Actors Venkatesh and Meena will be reprising their roles from the first part.
